Last week one of my oldest dearest friends died unexpectedly which got me to thinking about a Christians relationship with death. You see death to a Christian is a duel edged sword we grieve because we miss the person but at the same time when we know that someone is saved we celebrate because we know they have went home to be with the Lord and that we will see them again.   You may ask how I can be sure of this simple because Jesus himself promised in John 14:1-4, “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you.                                                       You may wonder am I good enough for God to use me? The answer is yes God likes to use imperfect people to accomplish his task. It shows that no matter who He uses as long as He is the guiding force behind the task it will go exactly how it was supposed to.   In the movie God Not dead 2, Grace Wesley who is played by Mellissa Joan Hart is put on trial for answering one her student question about Jesus.  At one point in the trail she declares, “I would rather stand with God and be judged by the world then, stand by the world and be judged by God!”   I wonder how many people in this day and age would have the courage to stand up and say that knowing that they could not only lose their job but also their professional license.   Now I’m not going to give any spoilers here I just thought that, that one line in the movie was worth the price of admission and if you take nothing else with you when you are done watching the movie you should remember that one line and take it to heart.
