Who is The Wind Beneath Your Wings?

28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. 29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:28-31

Bet Midler did a song a few years ago that went, “Did you ever know that you're my hero? You're everything I wish I could be. I could fly higher than an eagle, For you are the wind beneath my wings.”

I always thought it was a pretty song but never thought about it until recently. I was listening to you tube with my granddaughter and the song just happen to play on auto play and as it did I set there thinking who is the wind beneath my wings. After thinking for a bit, I could only think of one person who even when I didn’t really know or believe in Him, was always there for me lifting me up and no matter how low I had fallen or how down I was feeling, he was there whispering in my ear, “It is ok get up you can do better, I believe in you.”  Now you wonder who am I speaking of simple Jesus no matter where we find ourselves in life he will always be there for us gentle reminding us He is there for us and he will lovingly comfort us and treat us as a cherished brother or when we need it, a father.

Jesus is truly my hero and He should be yours for when no one else is there he will Always be the wind beneath your wings, He will always be the one who lifts you up so high that you will be flying higher than an eagle and he will always be there to catch you when you fall, dust you off and send you right back into the sky. Now I ask you who else can you say will do that for you.

Now you may ask how can I be so sure about this simple he willing set-a -side his divinity to come to earth and live as a man. A man that was cursed, scorned, then crucified for me and you even though we are sinful vile creatures who even after all that He and the Father has done for us we still are defiant and scornful yet even when we deny Him, He still loves us and raises us up giving each of us every chance to repent and live our lives the way God wants us to. He is there all the days of life giving us every chance to repent and follow him, even though we don’t deserve them.

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. 2 Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. 3 When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.  4 For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.  5 I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah. Psalm 32:1- 5

A Message for Nine- Eleven

This year as   September   the eleventh approaches and we reflect on that day it is a good time to remember   two things   one that while we may never know why it happened, God does   and secondly and most importantly God was there with each and every one of us that day rather we were setting at home watching on   the television or were one of the victims He was there offering you comfort and gently leading his followers home, while trying for one last time to call those who refused to believe   and rather they believed or not, God loved them and you as he always does.   You may ask why did God do this? Simple answer He didn’t do this these acts were done by men who were deceived by Satan into thinking they were following God’s will. They were deceived by a false promise of paradise for them and their families by becoming martyrs. Next you are going to ask why did God allow this? I don’t know but I trust His reasoning.   Corinthians...

Read The Bible

18 Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. 19 And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. 20 And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates: Deuteronomy 11:18-20 As we start another year, I can’t help but to ponder about all the changes that have occurred over my life. As I think back I began reminiscing about my now grown kids nothing earth changing just how things have changed since my oldest was born. I thought about the internet and cable tv both of which has changed life for the better and worse. Better because it has made the world a smaller place I am able to talk to people all over the world and the information useful information that is on the internet, before the internet if you wanted to ...

God Can use Anyone Even You!

You may wonder am I good enough for God to use me? The answer is yes God likes to use imperfect people to accomplish his task. It shows that no matter who He uses as long as He is the guiding force behind the task it will go exactly how it was supposed to. It is also a good reminder there is no obstacle that we can over come as long as we trust in the Lord   Matthew 26:30 -35 30  And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives. 31  Then Jesus said to them, “You will all fall away because of me this night. For it is written, ‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.’ 32  But after I am raised up, I will go before you to Galilee.” 33  Peter answered him, “Though they all fall away because of you, I will never fall...
