This year
as September the eleventh approaches and we reflect on
that day it is a good time to remember
two things one that while we may
never know why it happened, God does and
secondly and most importantly God was there with each and every one of us that
day rather we were setting at home watching on
the television or were one of the victims He was there offering you
comfort and gently leading his followers home, while trying for one last time
to call those who refused to believe and
rather they believed or not, God loved them and you as he always does.
You may ask why did God do this? Simple answer
He didn’t do this these acts were done by men who were deceived by Satan into
thinking they were following God’s will. They were deceived by a false promise
of paradise for them and their families by becoming martyrs. Next you are going
to ask why did God allow this? I don’t know but I trust His reasoning. Corinthians 13:12 says, “Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror,
but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is
partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God
now knows me completely.”
What I do
know without a doubt is that God was there with each and every one of the
victims offering a comforting and loving presence in their final moments on
this earth, no matter rather they knew it or not or if they believe in Him or
not. God also has been with the families of the victims offering them his strength
and his loving comfort till this day and He will be there tomorrow. Lastly, He
has been with you as you came to grips with the magnitude of that day as He is
always. God loves all of his children rather they know it or not, and rather
you believe it or not. Lamentations 3:19-25: 19 The thought of my suffering and homelessness is bitter beyond words.
20 I will never forget this awful time, as I grieve over my loss. 21 Yet I
still dare to hope when I remember this: 22 The faithful love of the LORD never
ends! His mercies never cease. 23 Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin
afresh each morning. 24 I say to myself, “The LORD is my inheritance;
therefore, I will hope in him!” 25 The LORD is good to those who depend on him,
to those who search for him.
